The Florida Geocaching Association, strives to advance the sport of geocaching throughout the state of Florida by encouraging fellowship and fraternity amongst Florida geocachers, foster geocaching etiquette and responsible stewardship of our environment, ensuring access to public lands for geocaching activities and promoting geocaching as a worthwhile family-oriented outdoor activity.
Through out the years the Florida Geocaching Association, in keeping with our mission, has created bookmark lists, highlighting those caches which our members and representatives have enjoyed the most.
This year we opted for a slightly different approach to selecting geocaches for the bookmark list. Your FGA local area representatives were asked to submit lists of their personal favorite caches published ON or AFTER January 1, 2007. This bookmark list is a culmination of those submissions. If you want to see the best newer caches Florida has to offer, generate a PQ and take off on a road trip around the Sunshine state. You won't be disappointed finding any of the geocaches on this list.
Also, have you wondered what type of geocaches the FGA representatives like to hide? Well, we have created a bookmark list of the FGA rep's favorite hides. Take a look at the list and the next time you area traveling to another region in the state you should take some time and search for any of the caches on the list.
