MINUTES

Meeting called to order at 8:01 PM. In attendance were: Team Crime Scene, Dale N Barb, Clan Riffster, Tallahassee-Lassie, FSUDad, paintfiction, and M&M_Melted.

Agenda Item #1 – Finances:

FSUDad gave a quick financial report. Some additional income due to shirt sales. Still have not paid for shirts. Waiting on invoice.

Board was notified that IK had been added as a signatory for the FGA bank account. Board discussed this and it was decided that another member of the board should be added to this list. M&M Melted graciously volunteered.

Agenda Item #2 – T-Shirts/Hats:

The new shirts are in and ready to be sold. They are available on-line, at events and through the SCGA Store. Shirts will be sold for $10 at events and $12 if shipped. Shirts are available in sizes Medium through 2 XL with this printing, if there is a great demand for the shirts the Board agreed to order additional shirts, to include kids sizes and up to 4-5 XL.

FGA sold 15 shirts at the Lake Louisa CITO event and 25 at the FGA event in Perry. Dale n Barb has also sold several at the SCGA store.

Hats – Received 24 shirts from RoundnRound We Go via LionsLair at the FGA event in Perry. Passed hats off to Dale n Bard to sell through the SCGA store. Also, FGA hats will be given to CITO hosts to be used as a door prize.

Agenda Item #3 – FGA Events:

The FGA event in Perry was a success. Good turn out of cachers… Good food provided by Goodman’s and plenty of caches around Perry thanks to Mean Green Machine. Thanks Tallahassee-Lassie for a great job with this event. FGA will reimburse T-L for expenses.

Next FGA event will be hosted by Team Crime Scene for SW Florida and will be held on March 27, 2010. It will be a Meet and Greet with some short clinics for newer cachers and will include classes on GSAK, Streets n trips, cache stats and different GPSr’s.

The FGA Revival Event is still in progress. Events will be held Friday, Saturday and a CITO on Sunday. Reservations have been made for the cabins, campsites and kitchen & pavilion. Local board members will be meeting with the Ranger on March 20, 2010 at MSSR to firm up details. Dates for the event are April 16-18, 2010.

Agenda Item #4 – Florida Caching League:

The first month for the League is over and we are now into March. The board member coordinating the event was not at tonight’s meeting. Will try and have something posted in the forums soon.


The Board scheduled the next meeting for Tuesday, April 13 at 8:00 PM.
