New to area & cacheing

Married 56 yr old lady. I went to visit my dad in Tulsa with 2 of my sisters and they took me out. We found 6 caches and I'm hooked.
Moved here in Dec. Don't know but a few folks and they don't want to cache.
Would love to get with group of folks that do.

Welcome to the madness. You have taken the first big step in getting on the forums. There are many things that can be answered just by perusing the threads. Questions like the one you posted are always met with someone to give advice or a ribbing. There are a few events around our area planned for the summer that would be a great jump start getting you to meet folks. GC29WD8 and GC2ACXO are on the books now but both in the Naples area. The future events on the table but not in the que yet are "Christmas in July" "Geocaching puzzles for beginners" and a "Whiners event". These three will be in the Fort Myers and Port Charlotte area. They should be up in the next few days or so. It would be helpful knowing where you call home. Not the address of course but the general location.

Planned group outings usually slow during the summer and will pick up again as soon as the heat subsides and the mosquitoes start to die off.
