I typed this up once already today and the computer crash loosing everything. Hope I don't forget anything this go around.
The event - GC23E8J - is scheduled for March 6th in Perry at the Florida Capital State Park, Museum and Cracker Homestead. Admission to the park is free but there is a $2 fee to enter the Museum and Cracker Homestead - which I hope you will do. You can get the rest of the details from the cache event page.
Here is some information on accomodations in the area:
Camping - The Perry KOA is right down the street from the park. I'm not promoting it but it is very nice. They have offered a discount based on a certain number of campers. If you are interested contact me directly (tally-lass@comcast.net) for more information. Rocky's Campground is further down the road. I know nothing about it. I was told by a local that it is nice but not family oriented.
Hotels: My oh my ... Perry is FULL of hotels. There is a Hampton Inn, the Days Inn, America's Best Value Inn and so many more.
The FGA will be providing the main course for lunch and I have arranged for pull pork sandwiches from the local establishment Goodman's BBQ. So a head count is very important. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post your intention to attend so I can make sure we have enough.
If you have any questions please contact me.
